I've Become Obsessed with Cherry Jam

I found a jar of tart cherry jam at Marshall's and bought it. Hubs and I both fell in love with it. I tried to buy it online since Marshall's doesn't have anymore. Well, just my luck they don't make that flavor anymore. So I decided to buy some different brands. I ended up with lots of jars of tart cherry jam. I went a little overboard. But the good news is I have found one that is just as good as the one I loved first. My hubs likes cherry jam and peanut for a sandwich, I just use the jam on my toast in the morning. We are eating the Maury Island one right now having finished the Bonne Maman.

I got the Bonne Maman for $1.99 at a discount store which is a big bargain, the Maury Island was over $6.00

I have never really done cherry before, I usually like strawberry or bumbleberry or some berry but this is very very good.

Both Bonne Manan and Maury Island are very good and tart enough to taste real. I enjoyed them both.

I love cherry jam too and pick it up when I can. I also have a blackberry bush, so every year I make my own homemade blackberry jam.

@BelleStarr I don't know about blueberries, but raspberries, black raspberries, and blackberries all make their own pectin, so all I need are the berries and sugar to make the jam. I actually got the recipe from someone here who was a chef on either a yacht or cruise ship. Unfortunately when I started taking college classes I wasn't here as often and she has stopped being active here, so I never got to catch with with her. I hope she's doing well.

I have been on the same kick lately, but with homemade blueberry jams. I've been visiting lots of different farmer's markets looking for various types of blueberry jams.
