Finally Got My Tree Up! / myLot

I usually put the tree up the day after Thanksgiving and it starts the festive mood early. This year I put the tree up less than one week before Christmas. It was really nice to come from work to see it lit up. It definitely got me more in the Christmas spirit. I was so in the Christmas spirit that I also finally wrapped some gifts. I am now fully ready for some time off of work, time with family, and lots of good food. How is everyone else doing as far as being ready for Christmas?

I always put my tree up on the first day of December. It was a tradition in our house when my parents were alive as it was my dad's birthday so I like to keep to it. I wrapped my presents yesterday so I think I am just about ready.

Don't you love family holiday traditions. Doing the things I used to do when I was a kid with my own kids makes me feel so nostalgic.

@Nakachan Yes I do. It takes me back to my childhood when I was at home with my parents who are gone now.
