Santa brought us a new toy

Hubby and I decided to play Santa for ourselves this year. We decided that we could not live without an electric pasta maker. So....Saturday we will see if spaghetti noodles will emerge nicely from the black box or.....gum and more gum. I'd rather have noodles but won't know until we pour in the flour, water and egg and turn on the power. I have no trouble making pie crust by hand but my hand done noodles come out thick and way too chewy. So here we are.....hubby busily taking apart the electric wiz kid and me crossing my fingers. Please if you feel like it, pray for us? Thanks.

I hope that pasta maker worked nicely. Does it also make those pretty bow shaped type pastas?

@rebelann No. Spaghetti, fettucinni and those penne noodles. I am itchy to see penne come out cause those are little tubes.
