Dog or Cat?

I've always loved dogs as a kid, but as a get older and busier I am getting very comfortable with my boyfriends very independent cat. Ali cat pretty much keeps to himself and comes to visit for rubs right before bed. I think I'm growing into a cat person even though I was scared of them most of my life. Which do you prefer?

I’ve always had both growing up and when the kids were still at home. These days I prefer cats. They are extra special to me.

@Nakachan Just as long as we give them a good home and lots of love, it makes no difference. The older we get, it’s a pain in the neck to walk dogs and much easier to trip over cats.

They both are definitely great companions. I love them both now too, but in the past it was strictly dogs.

I have been alwys og person and I like dogs as compani0ns. In India people don't have much passion for Cats like they have for Dogs!

We did not have a cat when we lived in Europe and Asia it was to hard to move a cat around. But since we came back to the states I have always liked a cat better. They take care of themselves.

I have dogs but they are quite old and when they are gone I will get a cat. Dogs are more needy and harder to leave for a day whereas a cat doesn't mind as long as it gets fed, has a little affection and a comfortable bed. I love all animals so I have loved owning both.
