What's New? I'll tell you....

What's new with me? My husband and I had our first Christmas with no exchange of gifts. It was still fabulous and fun. We spent time with family and had great food. We didn't stress over 'finding' something to put under the tree. We do not have children, so that's definitely a factor. We made sure his 91 year old mom and our pup had some gifts as well as family and friends. For us it was about less stress and more quality time. On a different note, we are beginning an Intermittent Fasting journey together. Our doctor not only approves, but recommends this plan. We got some cool new kitchen things from family members (NuWave Air Fryer/Oven and an Instapot), so we are looking forward to trying those out with some healthy new ideas. If you have any great ideas, please share!! I hope everyone enjoyed whatever holidays they are or did celebrate.

We just decided we didn't need much and instead of stressing about it, we were happy to just be together. It was a good thing, for us!

I have a friend who says no gifts and then comes round with a bagful to embarrass me!

We decided two years ago to stop exchanging presents, less stress. This year we had bought a couple of things a few days before Christmas and decided to put those under our tree, just for the view of nice packages under the tree.
