Good morning everyone! Good evening to some here on Mylot. It is a cloudy day as I can see it in our window. The temperature is 0 degrees Celsius. Shivering.
No special day for today. I just have to wash the new clothes that we bought yesterday in C&A. No, they are not for me but for my better half. There was a sale in the shop and I "forced" my other half to go with me so we can buy pants and other clothes for him. We were able to buy him pants and a coat which are already in sale.
Are painters only thinking of their canvas and colors to paint? He keeps on buying those things. It annoys me as they are more important that his clothes. Well, I have successfully bought him clothes with his presence.

Glad you were able to get your husband out to shop.
My husband loves to shop and has always had the best taste. I think he has more clothes and shoes than I do!
I love dragging him to shop with me. I value his opinions more than my own. When I’m in a quandary of which to buy, he always tells me to get them all.

Once again my boyfriend could buy himself some shirts and socks without holes in him but instead he's buying a boat. What's the trick to getting my boyfriend to buy himself clothes like your better half?
I don't like to see sale signs as much as I like to see clearance signs!

Yes, that's all artists of any kind think about, their supplies. I'm the same way. Though I don't go out and buy a new computer every year. I needed a new printer though and got that a few months ago. It's good you got him some new clothes.

i suspect you are in the midst of a long term tussle. I know my wife doesn't even take me anymore, she just buys me clothes and says wear them!

Lol! I can´t do that anymore what your wife did to you. I used to do that but now, he has to try the clothes first if the fit before buying. Thanks @DocAndersen1 person likes this

I avoid going into stores whenever possible except for groceries. I buy most things online.

When it comes to clothes, practically nothing at all except for maybe socks, shoes, and underwear. Everything else I can buy in thrift stores for pennies on the dollar, and so even on sale, clothes in most "shops" are way overpriced. I can go to Goodwill, for example, and buy a pair of jeans for $4.

I usually push my husband into buying clothing, or if its just work clothes, I will buy them for him as he doesn't like to shop.
Yesterday he went out, all on his own, and he even found a nice 3 in 1 coat marked down 75% that he liked, and he bought it! I was so happy since he wears his clothing until I have to take it away from him.
