Today I am making a list

I am making a list so that when I finish the day I know what I have gotten done.
It is fun to see the check marks. I actually could do a lot more, but I believe this is enough. I will be content.
The cats love to "help" me with each step of the way. It kind of slows me down. I bet they will not walk on the floor when I mop it though.
I hope to find a couple of missing things while going through and sorting stuff.
I am amazed at how many Christmas ornaments I actually have.
We will eat left overs tonight. Beans and biscuits this time.
I am alternating computer and not computer, just to see what I can get done and how tired I get.
I will talk to all of you some more later.
Hubby works today, bowls tonight. He wants to go to McPherson tomorrow.
I get time to myself, but part of the plan is to clean up where he sits and scatters things.
Mid day, the noon whistle sounded about a half hour ago.

That is why this is not a "to do" list, but rather a "ta dah" list. of the things I did do. I am not so mean to myself then when I see what I did get done.

Well, if I made a list of Tadahs it would be a 3 liner at best @GardenGerty mostly I get online stuff done not inhouse .

ya got'cha some help, too? the resident cat loves walkin' 'cross a freshly mopped floor, lol. these helps 'xcept with the vac, neither like 't. 'tis not's loud's my previous'un, so a tad confused 'bout that. perhaps a diff'rent pitch 'n such hurts their ears?
i 'dmire ya makin' a list 'n checkin' schtuff off. my sweet momma 'n e'en my daughter 're list makers. i make a list then cannot find such. purty much been that way all my life, lol.
me time? yer gonna get some me time? i'm hopin' fer such this comin' week, but see none. 't least the next week i've a few days i might get a few hours 'f such. will be glorious!

Oh, I only listed things when I finished them, so I feel very accomplished. It distracts me from all the piles of half done things.

@GardenGerty that's a great idea! 'f course, i'd not be able to locate said list when the next thingy got 'ccomplished. i'm horrible with lists 'n e'en post't notes don't stand a chance't my place, lol. dunno where they all go?? 'tis 'lways been a mystery...

I used to make lists, but I would pad them with things like get up, have breakfast, get dressed...

I do about two posts daily here. Yes, I checked it off. I put things on the list after I finished them. Kind of a pat on the back for me from me.

Good idea for having a check list. I have a calendar where I put all my appointments and to do list for the day. It is nice to see all the check marks and all done! 
Have fun shopping with your husband tomorrow! I'm getting ready for New Years and got some foods marinating and already cooked. There is a stewed vegetable dish traditional for us, and like stew became a big pot full, so I get to eat it before, during and after New Years.

I like check marks and finishing a list, too. there's something so satisfying about crossing something out, knowing you've done it. best of luck with all your chores and errands
