The Association is an American pop band from California that was formed in 1965. They gained national recognition with the release of "Along Comes Mary". "Cherish" was their first #1 hit and led to the recording of their first album. The group was active from 1965-present.

Very popular and successful band between 1966-69. A difficult thing to do with the invasion of the British Bands and the changing musical culture. Great group harmonies and songs which appealed to an Adult Contemporary audience on a personal level.
