Have you heard her do "Cool on Your Island" live? It sounds completely different from the album...more heartbreaking.

Oh I know - it just made me think of Cool on Your Island when you said cooling.

"Cooling" and "Cool on your Island" are two different songs, but I've heard her do both live :)

Yep, it's called God and it's from the Under the Pink album. My brother loved to shock my mom with that song.

Augh! You want me to choose 1? The first one I loved was Caught a Lite Sneeze, then Cornflake Girl, more recently I can't get enough of Sorta Fairytale, Sleeps with Butterflies or Sweet the Sting. I also adore Ribbons Undone, it's a favourite of my daughters actually because it has her name in it "Lily" and she is only 4 1/2. I think it's neat because that song was written for her daughter and contains the name of her daughter's alter ego Alice Lily Horsey Ribbons. It's so beautiful.

I actually don't know that song. I'll have to go and relisten to that album. I've only listened to the latest album twice. I like the older ones much better. I should put it on my ipod so that I get familiar with those songs.

Silent All These Years has always been at the top of my list. The whole Little Earthquakes CD got me through some tough spots in life. Winter is so beautiful, it almost always makes me cry.

Tori Amos is a musical genius. I like the way she makes music. Her works are really art forms, not just sounds and lyrics. It's like a painting hanging in brain. I love all the songs in "Boys for Pele," which I my favorite album of hers. However, my favorite song of hers has always been "Spark." It's haunting, powerful, and visual. I love it!

I like so many of them that it is hard to say one. I think that it would be Cornflake girl or Hey Jupiter.

Tori Amos songs are like pringles? You cant just pick one. Well you could but you would want the others too. I really go by what song is rolling through my head. Right now Walk to Dublin.

Mine would be Girl and Silent All These Years. The whole Little Earthquakes album to me is just... indescribable really. It's been my constant companion ever since I heard the album, and Girl and SATY were the first two songs I heard that turned me into a fan.

It's really hard for me to pick just one, but I would say that "Past the Mission," "God," and "Raspberry Swirl" are among my favorites. There are just so many amazing Tori Amos songs, and I don't even like about half of the music she's released! (I really can't stand her cover songs.)
