We normally celebrate it at my house but this year we decided to celebrate the new year at a hotel with the whole family (husband's side). We just have some pizza and spaghetti with meatballs from Yellow Cab and a blueberry cheesecake for dessert.
There was a new year countdown at the lobby but we just stayed in our room to watch the fireworks outside. This time we saw the skyline and watch many fireworks smoke free and comfortably in an air conditioned room.
We also attended the anticipated mass and was able to listen to Brother Bo's message and was able to meet him personally.
How did you celebrate your new year?

We celebrate New Year at home. We were not together on Christmas because I was away from home so made it a point to to celebrate New year at home.

for those with respiratory conditions, yes, it's better to be as far away from the fireworks as possible.

It was a different kind of celebration but no matter what, it was best celebrated with the family and the people we truly care about.
