January 1st - What I'm Thankful For

Happy New Year everyone. Yes, I know what day today is. I also know I went to bed last night without writing this, so I'm making up for it now.
Yesterday was a very good day all around. That in itself is something to be thankful for.
I hung out with you for a good part of the day yesterday and got a lot of good wishes from you for a good year. I hope you all have a wonderful year too.
I'm thankful that I didn't eat much yesterday. Despite not counting calories because it was a nibble day, the only real meal I had was breakfast, chocolate pancakes that I made up the day before and had half the batter on the last day of the year and the other half yesterday. I could really become addicted to chocolate pancakes, especially when they're healthy.
I'm thankful for the nice quiet day yesterday.
I'm thankful I made my arbitrary payout and more. I like surprises, especially good surprises.
I'm thankful for my health and waking up to sunshine. My health, good food, good friends, what more could a person want? A roof over my head and a car to drive is also good. I even have a wonderful relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ. I have no other wants or needs. I'll have money in the bank tomorrow.
What were you thankful for on the first day of January 2020? Are you used to writing 2020 yet? Or are you still trying to write 2019? Thanks for reading. The image is mine.

@crazyhorseladycx Can I come by you? We have 40s and my snow has melted. Not all of it, but my lawn in front is decidedly green. More snow coming on Sunday.

I'm happy to see the new year of 2020 and although I enjoyed them immensely I'm thankful the holidays are over.

I have a lot to thank about. I am grateful that we have a family day successful with all my children present together with their children.
