Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta

One of my favorite parts of the winter months in Albuquerque is the balloon fiesta. This year was my first time going to the special shape "glowdeo " night show where they light up all of the special shaped hot air balloons. It was such an awesome thing to see and included fireworks and people jumping out of planes in parachutes. If you are ever in the Southwest in the winter be sure to check out the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. It is quite a spectacle!

Wow, that's really awesome. But aren't those parachutes hard to see at night?

They are lit up and have fireworks shooting out of their gear. They had 4 sky divers in tandem. It's the craziest thing! I kept thinking about what would happen if one ember from the fireworks hit their chute, but thankfully everything went smoothly.
