My son in law is the best!

I am so lucky that I have the nicest son in law. Not only has he made my daughter happy but he treats me like his own mum. Sadly his mum died when he was 17 in traumatic circumstances so for a long time he has been without her as he is now 33.
They are coming down next weekend and hopefully we will all go out for a meal to have a late celebration of Christmas and the New Year. It's nice to get on with family and I count myself lucky that my daughter was lucky enough to find such a lovely man.

@sprite1950 I met the mom of my husband when I worked for him. She came to his office to ask for a translation (that I did) and my husband tells me all the time that she was so much impressed by me that she hoped all the time that one day I would have become his wife.

@LowRiderX She is a good girl and even as a child she was easy to manage. I have a son who is just the opposite. It's odd how two children can be brought up exactly the same yet be so different.

Maybe although he does have a step mum that he gets on with because his dad remarried. He was grown up by the time they met though.

Yes we are. I didn't like some of her other boyfriends in the past as I didn't think they treated her well but he is wonderful to her.
