It was really annoying that while we were enjoying the New Year’s Eve and I checked my phone for my greeters, I happened to read the message from phone reminding me of the bills I needed to pay for early 2020!
A spoiler indeed! It just could not wait really. Even then, I decided to pay the bills right away on the 2nd day of January 2020 although it was still due on the 16th.
Did it happen to you too?

Most of my bills are dated for mid of month between 13_21. So it's still time for that.

@arunima25 As long as there is money to spend for important things then we should not worry.

@cherigucchi Yes. So does mine but the paying date generally falls in this window.

Good thing that you already did. I have my Electric bill paid on the First day of January since it was due on Dec 31 last year. It happened that guard was not able to forward it to us so we were not reminded of the due date when we got home I realised that I have not paid any electric bill for the month of december and called the guard to check if there was any bill left there for us and they realised it too that they did not give the bill to us. So I immediately paid online so that we would not be sen disconnection letter.

It was good to hear that at least you had settled it before the connection notice arrived.

I tend to pay all my bills by direct debit so all payments come out of my account automatically. For me it's the best way as I know I would forget.

@cherigucchi I find it easier to pay my bills that way. Then I can't ever forget and don't have to worry.

@cherigucchi Why I would pay in front when I don't know how many months I will stay in apartment?

I am used to it because a new year means I need to renew and pay my business permit plus my association dues of our village ,a rather large amount when combined with the incoming bills

The electric bill seemed to have readjusted their reading and billing time earlier. So much ggrrrr.
