Is today's woman weaker than men?.....Do men hold an upper hand?

Practically speaking, yes men are dominating even today. only in metropolitian cities and big cities woman are aware of the rules and their rights.But india being country of villages men are dominating over woman

People have not really changed much in the last hundred years. There are women and men who are less secure in their self esteem than others and there are those who will take advantage of this fact. What is different is that women today have the right in most countries to appeal to the law and the court system. In divorce it used to be the woman pretty much automatically was awarded the children and support. Today both sides are examined and an award or lack thereof is based on reality not preconceived notions. Women used to have to accept abuse. After all a man's home was his castle. The woman was subordinate to his wishes and desires. Today, an abused woman has alteratives, if she avails herself of them. Again going back to the issue of self esteem. Today as at any time in history, we have both the strong and the weak. In the physical, emotional and intellectual arenas.
