My life is limping back to regular routine. The hangover is still hanging around. But can I afford to be lazy and lethargic. Oh no! My hands are full with documents of the children I have to get admitted in schools. New admissions are on in government schools and I have to collect all necessary documents for the process to flow smoothly. I am waiting for some essential certificates from the previous schools of some children. I have been making rounds of the schools. Every where there is a crowd. I only hope the school officials will show some consideration to me.

I'm retired and don't work, but even then, it's hard to get back into the swing of things. The last week and a half, from Christmas until now, has been filled with people, undecorating, rearranging, cleaning, etc. The only good thing about getting back into my regular routine is that it isn't as exhausting. Not as much fun, though

Best of luck to you. I just kept on writing as much as I could all through the holidays.

I did not have issues returning to the swing of things at work as I never had a long break during the holidays. The only days that I did not work are December 25, 26, January 31, and 1. There are weeks that I end up working during the weekends as well, depending on the kind of emergency or crisis we are having. I am still very thankful still that I have those days off. I was able to spend time with family and friends, and I am thankful for those extra days that I do not have to work.

I hope you manage to get all the paperwork sorted out. Our school-children do not go back to school till 3 February. Their long holiday is over our hot summer.

Our schools on the cold mountain regions have long winter holidays too. They reopen in February.

That's the way it is especially when you're working for a living. You've to work.
