Been experiencing constant Internet outages since 11 PM last night when I was right at the part of a movie I was watching where they were finally going to catch the bad guy.
Had to wait until this morning to finish it. Didn't feel sorry for the bad guy. He had it coming even though he was a very likable guy with a lovely singing voice.
Managed to sneak this post in as I now have Internet access. For how long? I don't know.
Other than that, it's a lovely day.
How is your day going?
By the way the movie was "Casbah". It was a 1948 film which starred Peter Lorre. I love Peter Lorre, don't you? He's such a devilishly devious little weasel.
Peter Lorre was born László Lowenstein on Rózsahegy, Hungary. He was educated in elementary and secondary schools in Vienna, Austria. As a youth, he ...

Haven't been on my laptop much. But now that I'm on, the Internet seems to be behaving itself.

The lights went out just before worship services was concluded yesterday. It felt so weird. There was no storm or thundering or anything. In fact the weather was great! It was off for about a minute. But when they came back on, I didn't hear the dismissal prayer. So I said a prayer to myself and left the building.

I have been watching old black and white movies and TV shows on YouTube and that was one of the recommendations. I would not have known to search for it since I had never heard of it.

I don't know. I've never been there but there is something about Algiers that is so mysterious and exotic. Whenever I see a movie that is set in Algiers I usually watch it.

Yes. Funny thing is I didn't really know the two main stars. Peter Lorre wasn't even the main star but I watched it because he was in it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm finding lots of great old movies on YouTube in black and white. I like watching them in black and white instead of colorized.
