Oh man it looks like this year we have three vacations. July, August and October and it’s going to be thoughts. I only have dates for the July and August. October dates are still be determined. I guess that means the extra rain money will be for vacation or whatever cash I put aide for it. I only have to pay for 1 location so far at least for staying and food. The other two I think I just need to pay for food and transport. Putting all the money I can toward it.

I had three last year - a few days with my partner (who is now my husband) and youngest son for partner's birthday; one with just me and my two sons in the summer (that was my younger son and my first time abroad, and the first time the boys had been on a plane. It was also the first time I'd taken the boys on holiday without another adult - well, my eldest son is an adult but you know what I mean); the third was after I got married so was just me and my husband for our honeymoon/my birthday. After all that, I'm not sure we'll be going anywhere this year! We usually have a weekend or a short holiday just three of us (me, husband, youngest) and a summer holiday with four of us (me, husband, and two boys). I think we might just have days out and adventures this year. We might do something small but I have a plan for next year to go away for my husband's 50th birthday. We also have other things we want to do/buy so a big holiday may not be in budget this year!

It's nice to plan for a vacation because there is something to look forward to. If you had read my post about our trip to Seoul, Korea, I posted it sometime in October, I think, when we bought the plane ticket. And the trip is on October 2020, waheehee.

Oh cool. Thankfully we don’t have to fly to any places we can drive to all of the locations.

@ShyBear88 I also love driving even if it is tiring. We once traveled to a northern province that took us 10 hours huh.

Last yeR we took our "big" once in a lifetime vacation. This year we are planning several short vacations in our case, it is usually travelling to visit with family.
