Well, due to the recent US-Iran tensions, and some irresponsible statements by Trump like targeting cultural sites, which even UN could object to, the Indian economy (and perhaps many others) are feeling the brunt.
Share markets down.
Rupee depreciating vs Dollars.
Fuel prices up.
With economy already under probable recessionary pressures, this is not a good sign.
Hopefully, sanity prevails and not conflict!

Self defense and caution is welcome but undue belligerence and aggressiveness is not useful.

Yes it's not a good sign. Hope things do not end up in a war. US and Iran have been in such tensed situations earlier too but they traced back from a war. It will effect the entire world and global economy as such is going a sluggish phase.

A bigger conflict would put the global economic growth in much more dire straits.

Yes, because if a war occurs, there would be more destruction and factors leading to more anarchy, rather than peace.

All we can do is pray and hope that things can be settled in a peaceful manner.

Well India has overall followed a friendly policy towards most countries. So India has had good relations with both Iran and US but aggressiveness towards countries which cause disturbance within India.
