Here we go again, another day of waiting and waiting. I have been doing this so often lately that I am quickly running out of patience. The older I get, the less patience I have. Are you running out of patience too?

What are you waiting for? I have never been a very patient person, less now that I am old

@marlina I had a call from my dentist this morning to confirm my dental appointment. My husband had a call from the hospital, his physiotherapist had an accident and will not be around for a couple of months. They are trying to find a good substitute.

It depends on the situation for me - but I certainly have less patience for certain things these days. I try to keep busy during those times - go do something else while waiting - because I can't stand only waiting.

@much2say , True. After all that waiting, I only resolve 2 things. The pharmacy delivery was postponed to today early in the morning. They better be right this time.

i feel fer ya. i've been waitin' fer my insurance agents to get done's they'd promised. 'tis been nearly 2 months 'n such's not been done to my satisfaction. i've given'p callin', sendin' emails. i'll jest be without health insurance. my patience 's run plum out with 'em, healthcare.gov 'n others 'nvolved'n the messy process. they can all jest bite my backside. i've loads 'f patience with critters, the elderly 'n wee'uns. the rest? nope. used to, not any longer.

@marlina That's got to be the most annoying. You know you're going to wait a minimum of 40 minutes.

No, I'm being told to continue to wait five results I've desired for mow than ten years now. I'd builder's didn't have the capacity to wait we wouldn't have so many places to visit in our travels

I too hate waiting. So when I anticipate any waiting time, I go prepared with something to read, phone to mylot or some knitting and crochet.

I think I have learned patience over time. Not always a fun thing to learn, but oh so rewarding when we learn that instant gratification does not really make you happy.

It really depends on the situation, but there are many things for which I have very little patience. In my younger years I did tolerate a little more than I do now.
