New Year, New You

January 7, 2020 2:27pm CST
You hear that everywhere. But I actually heard an interesting take on that. There is nothing WRONG with the old you. The old you is great. The old you has managed to make it this far. So maybe instead of new year, new you we should work on New Year, BETTER you. How can you make resolutions, or goals to make yourself the BEST version of yourself you can be. Don't re-invent yourself, just better yourself. Set goals to do that. Do you have any goals or resolutions yet? how are you doing with them?

I never make resolutions, just live life the best I can.

We are soul sisters indeed! I consider this goal setting and list making complete nonsense. One should *always* think before one decides something. Why make such a fuss only once a year? I bet that all the good intentions will be forgotten by March at the latest.

Sounds good to me, make the old person a better person. No goals, just to be happy.

No resolutions this side. What about your resolutions? Do you keep them or break them?
