Co dependancy therapy

So my social services therapist refered me to a co dependant therapy class that is 10 weeks long and each class is 2 1/2 hrs. 2 1/2 hrs! Wth! I couldnt believe it- I thought* what did i do to this lady for her to punish me with this 10 week class* then i thought* co dependant? Whats that? Not me! How does this lady no im codependant when durimg therapy she did all the talking?* court order so i attended today and guess what i found out- im co dependant and a co dependant parent!

excessive emotional or psychological reliance on a partner, typically one who requires support on account of an illness or addiction.
As far as bieng a co dependant parent I dont set boundries with my son and lack of follow thru i let him get away with everything
