When I awoke this morning it was just starting to snow.
Will we get the predicted 6 inches? Hubby has been waiting to try out the snowblower we were gifted with this spring.
So far, the inch or so that has fallen with each snowfall, hasn't been worth while.
Meanwhile, I sit snug in my sewing room, continuing work of this amazing quilt.

Still no great accumulation of snow. The grass is finally covered....but really...its January...and this is the Maritimes.

@paigea we have had so much rain, the ground is saturated. Hurricane Dorian knocked down a lot of trees and each wind event since has toppled more.

I remember a winter, probably about 10 years ago or so, that was so mild, very little snow and when we had snow, it was those quick little Alberta Clippers. The mild temperatures usually melted that snow the following morning. Hopefully you do not get enough snow that he becomes too well-versed with the use of the snowblower. Although they can save a man's back, its a nicer winter if there just isn't enough to use it.
Your quilt is pretty, very imaginative and unique. Enjoy your time working on it.

So far the snow blower is patiently waiting a real snowfall. Still no need to pull it out.

Thank you! I'm really pleased with how this quilt is developing.
Hubby still doesn't think there is enough snow to use the snow blower. I'm actually inclined to agree with him.
It looks pretty, but after a good twelve hours of non stop snow...we still only have about 2-3 inches.

How nice you were given a snow blower. They are great. My father has one. The ladybug on this is too darn cute and the daffodils look very realistic.
