Better late than Never

So, I have the Shell Fuel Rewards Card..People start off getting 3 cents off per gallon, and I guess if you buy enough gas you get 5 cents off per gallon. I don't buy that much gas at Shell because it isn't my regular station, although I do go there sometimes so I can use the card, and also because I can use my paypal card there...for some reason My regular station doesn't like it. Anyway, I had taken a survey online for those that use the card, and they said on my next gas purchase I would have .05 cents off..I though OK cool. Well this was about a month or two ago, and I have gone to Shell several times..no extra cents off. I thought OH well.
Anyway, today when I got gas, I had not only my regular 3 cents off, but 5 tacked on to it, making 0.8 cents per gallon off. That was nice..maybe they put the extra on there to make up for being late. It would be nice if it lasted indefinitely, although I don't think it will.. Have you had a better late than never kind of thing lately?

Yeah, that would be sweet. I would have to start buying my gas at Shell all the time if that was the case.

Oh that's awesome. As far as I know, there aren't any programs like that here..but Seniors do get a number of discounts.

I used to be like that..i just bought gas wherever, but it does vary quite a bit in price.
