I haven't experienced it yet but my mother warned me before not to get my feet wet all the time when working outdoors like gardening or doing the laundry. Not sure if that's true..
My father had it before and he used to apply a balm on his heels...

What balm it is? It is similar to petroleum jelly

I think that is a problem with the footwear. If you are wearing high heels, shift to low heels and if you are wearing flat shoes then wear heeled shoes.

Do you have any way to get the prouduct, Baby Foot? It is perfect for shedding dry, or tough skin. Your feet are enveloped for about an hour in natural ingredients,, and then after about two or three days the skin on your feet start to peel off. The results are nice, and smooth. I love it. Beware of similar products that aren't as effective.
