I have problems with my cracked heels. It seemed to be callus too. The skin is thickened and they have small cracks. I buy petroleum jelly and apply it every night. Do you have the same problem?

I haven't experienced it yet but my mother warned me before not to get my feet wet all the time when working outdoors like gardening or doing the laundry. Not sure if that's true.. My father had it before and he used to apply a balm on his heels...

@LadyDuck, I thought petroleum Jelly is good only for burns, so it is all around.

I think that is a problem with the footwear. If you are wearing high heels, shift to low heels and if you are wearing flat shoes then wear heeled shoes.

I’m so sorry! I don’t have that problem. Perhaps you need a good pedicure and should moisturize every time you take a bath or shower.

Do you have any way to get the prouduct, Baby Foot? It is perfect for shedding dry, or tough skin. Your feet are enveloped for about an hour in natural ingredients,, and then after about two or three days the skin on your feet start to peel off. The results are nice, and smooth. I love it. Beware of similar products that aren't as effective.

First, you soak your feet, dry them and apply the vaseline and put on some cotton socks. It makes the feet feel really soft.
