Ambulance and Fire Truck at Neighbor's

While watching television last night, I kept hearing sirens in the distance. Then they all stopped at once. I got up to see if there was anything going on outside. And there were five rescue vehicles at my neighbor's house.
I suppose when a 911 call goes out, all volunteers respond. That is good to know.
They all had their red lights flashing. What a scary scene. This is the neighbor that is in her 80s and her husband is close to 90. She always gives me flowers from her garden.
I walked out to my driveway. Her house is directly across the street. But I never could find anyone to ask how they were. I saw someone brought out on a stretcher to the ambulance, but I could not tell, in the dark, which one it was.
Then I saw her car leave behind the ambulance. I am thinking it was probably her husband. He has had a stroke and has fallen a few times.
I just hope whoever it was, they are ok today. I will call later when I see the care come home.

I hope they are ok. It's good that the rescue services were there to help them. Sometimes when I see an ambulance I think "That will be for me one day"

That's really scary that all the rescue units came together when it could be done by one ambulance. I suppose it could be the husband.

@CarolDM ah ok. We have a rescue unit in our organization, when there's a call they get information first so they know beforehand what they are responding.

I don’t know how Davidson County/Nashville is, but here EMS dispatches a fire unit anytime there’s an ambulance call for chest pains. If they’re doing that for the defibrillator that’s well and good; however, couldn’t they send an SUV instead of a big-butt fire truck to respond?????
