I Tried An Experiment

If you saw my last post about how I am suddenly seeing ads for a product that my daughter was showing me that she had, without actually mentioning what the product was, you'll understand this. I sat in my family room last night. Computer on, phone and tablet by my side, and spoke about a specific product that would be nice to have. It's an self-cleaning vacuum for the pool. It's like one of those vacuums that you just let wander around the house and clean the floors except for the swimming pool. I went on extensively about it because I wasn't exactly sure what it was called. Did I get any ads on any websites for that product today? No. None. Still getting ads for the face mask though. So this may disprove the theory about smart phones (Siri, Google, Alexa, etc. - except I don't have Alexa) hearing our conversations and responding by putting ads on our computers. This makes the other ads even creepier. I will try it again with another product and see what happens.

I love experiments! Let us know if pool cleaners come up in a couple of days.

Nope. I think it was just a total coincidence.

We had a huge pool before 20'X40', but cleaned it manually, we enjoyed doing that, a robot was not for us.
