It does seem unusual, but I think people just forget about past years. We always called these "Indian summers." It rained all day here yesterday and had thunder storms the night before. Last night it snowed a little bit. Next week it is supposed to be in the 50s. It is what it is.

@DocAndersen There were a few when I was living in Wisconsin. I seem to want to remember that it happened at least once a year, but I could be wrong. I know February was always the worst month for cold and snow in Wisconsin.
