My first Haiku poetry of 2020. 1/. Narnia wardrobe Leads into next door’s bedroom Where’s Aslan I ask. 2/. First Haiku in months Not that you can see the gap Anthology heals. 3/. My own tribute act No other role applicants For the poet’s job 4/. Like time-travellers I never know what day it is Need to keep asking. 5/. Fed up of cookies (Not biscuits, the online kind) Hate to click agree Arthur Chappell

Sometimes I write haikus too. It's a Japanese style of poetry for 3 lines. First 5 syllables, second 7 and 3rd 5.

These are great. I've only just discovered haiukus and I'm enjoying trying to do them. Getting the syllables right is the really tricky part (for me at any rate).
