My first Haiku poetry of 2020.
1/.
Narnia wardrobe
Leads into next door’s bedroom
Where’s Aslan I ask.
2/.
First Haiku in months
Not that you can see the gap
Anthology heals.
3/.
My own tribute act
No other role applicants
For the poet’s job
4/.
Like time-travellers
I never know what day it is
Need to keep asking.
5/.
Fed up of cookies
(Not biscuits, the online kind)
Hate to click agree

Sometimes I write haikus too. It's a Japanese style of poetry for 3 lines. First 5 syllables, second 7 and 3rd 5.

@arthurchappell I also like to write senryu, a similar type of a poem, less well known though.
