What a Christmas (2019)

I know this is weeks late, but really, I don't care. In the morning, I had a very hard time emotionally. As almost all I could think about was spending another Christmas without my daughter. And wondering if "Santa" was good to her this year or not. Then in the afternoon, my brother came by after work and opened all his gifts from mom, grandma, my fiance, and I. OH, and one that was from the cat. Then Mom and I started to open all of ours from him, my grandma, and each other. And what do you know.. mom and I ended up getting each other the same pair of Christmas leggings from Walmart, and I got her the Rudolph pajama onesie she was thinking of getting me . After opening all of the gifts, and a bit of talking, we all went over to my cousins, so that we could give Gabby her Christmas card that had her Disney on Ice tickets inside it. (She was so happy and excited, even though she didn't understand what they were for). Plus my brother had a two in one stuffy for her too, and wanted to see what Nick got. About an hour later, we all came home and mom and I watched tv while making chicken for dinner, as we ended up making our usual Christmas lasagna on Christmas Eve. Then I cried myself to sleep because of my daughter. As usual.

I'm sorry you had another Christmas without your daughter. I'm glad you had a good Christmas and you and your mom think alike. Has Gabby gone to Disney on Ice yet? Did she like it?

Thank you, it's so hard, never easier, unfortunately. We like the same things, so it's like easy to buy for one another, but also hard because we don't always want to get the SAME thing, lol. And the fact that we got the same, and laughed was good especially after the down morning. Yes, it was that Saturday. She LOVED it! Same with my aunts boy who also went, and my aunt and cousin - the moms. lol. And Gabby wants to go again this year, so mom and I are hoping to make that happen for her - of course.

@Courtlynn I'm so glad she loved it. Did you post pics about it on FB? I'm seldom there, but I'll look for it if you did.

@just4him I didn't, because I didn't go. but her mom posted photos of the kids there, and her with Gabby, and tagged mom and I in them. so you might be able to see them on my timeline.

I'm sorry it started and ended so emotional. It's not fair that you had to spend another Christmas without your daughter. Love you. That's great that you and your Mom got each other the same leggings, same with the onesie. Great minds think alike lol.

I am sorry to hear about having a hard time on Christmas emotionally, and crying yourself to sleep. Sounds like a nice Christmas though, and that is awesome that you got each other the same leggings. Great minds think alike they say!

She probably doesn’t believe in Santa anymore at her age. I can’t even imagine how hard the day was without her . That’s funny you and your momma got each other the same leggings. You obviously have very similar tastes! That last paragraph makes my heart hurt for you so much

Depends on if anyones ruined the magic of Christmas on her yet or not. I'd hope not. Yes, everything is liked the same around here.
