Back to basics.

A some of you know, I enjoy making coasters out of guitar sound holes. Guitar makers like Collings and Martin are willing to send me sound holes from their guitars (for free) that would have wound up in the dumpster.
I stain said sound holes, put polyurethane on them (so they don't warp when used), and put felt bottoms on them, so they don't scratch the tables they're on.
On rare occasions, I sell them (for about $20/pair), but I mostly give them to friends who are fellow musicians. I enjoy seeing them in peoples' houses.
I got back to basics this past week (a busy week) and made a couple of new pairs of coasters.
What will I do with them? I have no clue!

That is neat, I like those, nicely done buddy. Put a couple of strings in there so people can play their coasters.

@TheHorse Do not have to, meant for fun, people like we cannot play anyway, but we look cool playing our coasters.

Sound holes with holes... Do you cut the hole out of the middle of the felt backing to match the hole in the coaster?

@1creekgirl It's an enjoyable "hobby." A part of me wants to sell more of them. But that kind of defeats the spirit in which they're made.
