Why I have to block someone who used to be one of my favorite MyLotters

In this life, we all have to make tough decisions. Today, I had to face a tough decision. The MyLotter known to some as Valerie, and to others as @just4him, is a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan. I am a (fairly devoted) San Francisco 49ers fan.
Today, the Green Bay Packers defeated the Seattle Seahawks in a good game, but it was a game the Packers controlled for the most part. Therefore, I found myself rooting for the Seahawks to make it scary for the Packers at the end. I also had to support my friend (from Seattle), who was providing me with wine and musical experimentation.
The Green Bay Packers won, meaning that they face the San Francisco 49ers next weekend for the right to play in the Super Bowl.
Therefore, Valerie and I are mortal enemies for a week. To heck with her beautiful snow photos that remind me of my time in the Midwest, especially Iowa. To heck with the fact that Packer fans have to deal with 20 (F) degree weather to watch their team win at home, and are some of the most devoted in the United States. To heck with the fact that I often root for the Packers for some peculiar reason that I can not quite put my finger on.
To repeat: Valerie and I are mortal enemies for a week. I have blocked her. I have put nasty comments on her most recent five posts. I have done a weather dance, requesting 75 F temperatures next week so the Packers all melt on the field.
This is war. Please join me in rooting for the 49ers over the Packers next weekend.
---
Note to the humor-challenged: Valierie and I are friends and will continue to be so no matter what happens next weekend. It should be a good game.

I was like what did I do now. I used to love niners back in day hard to not Montana Ronnie Lott Jerry Rice, Roger Craig. These days do not do much for me and I do love Seattle. Pete Carrol is such a neat guy and probably has something to do with why Seattle my 2nd favorite team. They gone though, better them than my favorite. Packers only team that scares me left. Not because Chiefs cannot lose to Niners or Titans. Their Offense's is not quick strike like Packers offense can be.

@TheHorse seriously, I know you are joking because of the tone. Also, I know you as a man of wisdom although sometimes you are crazy with your posts, waheehee. For sure that was a joke.

@TheHorse — he was in the Army, I was in the Navy. Hence, mortal enemies.

@FourWalls By the way, my step-brother was an Army paratrooper, so you and I may be mortal enemies as well. To heck with our common love of good music.

Thanks for the best post to put a chuckle and smile on my face. 75 F eh? Remember one thing in this all-out war, Rodgers is from California. He's used to the weather. He can play anywhere, even if he does prefer 20 F and frozen tundra.
Let the war begin.

I love the Frozen Tundra. So many of the best US athletes (at least baseball players) grew up in places like California, Texas and Florida, where it's always warm. Team's like the Vikings, Bears and Packers (Patriots too, I suppose) have a "true" home field advantage when football games are played in 10 degree cold with blowing snow.

And the Super owl will pass me by. Football has never been a sport I have followed.
When the children were in their teens I did let them have a Super Bowl party. They watched the game....I stepped into the family room to watch the halftime show. That was it.

@lovebuglena I know football pretty well, but my interest in professional sports has diminished over the past few years.

@TheHorse I watch some games because hubby does and we have only one TV in the house. But I am not well versed in the rules of the game or keep track of who won or lost and all the other stats.

@TheHorse it can be.more upsetting if there is only 2 points or 1 point lead.
