Blogging and Writing Projects UPDATE

social sites

This is a follow up to a discussion post I initiated April 2016 (which was a follow up to another post). I discussed several social sites that said they would pay. Yeah whatever! The sites are named in my image and MyLot is the only one really paying. The site Tsu bit da dust! In 2019, they said they were coming back. I ain't seen 'em yet! Just found out the other day Bitlanders said Bye Bye! The site Blogjob seems to have problems with its plugins. Slowly I am moving content from that site to other homes on the web. I came to MyLot because Persona Paper discontinued its rewards program. The site still exists but I am no longer active. I sometimes remove content from that site and republish where I can earn income. I keep my account because I like the new owner and one day she might figure out a way for the members to earn income from their activity. My articles at HUBPages continue to generate income. The HP owners have a revenue-share plan. They share Google Ad Sense revenue. I plan to write some articles even though I have not written for a few years. It's my old articles that are still generating income. I'm sticking with Tumblr. Even though the admin were toying with the idea of how to allow users to generate income from their blogs. Their ideas never materialized. But there are lot of ways to use this platform for income purposes. They allow affiliate links, for example. Some of the sites NOT mentioned that I have tried since that old post? Niume. The owner died and nobody wanted to continue the site. Daily Two Cents and Writedge were partner sites owned by the same two ladies. For personal reasons they shut down the sites. I did earn for a while. I was able to republish my content elsewhere and make income. Virily was set up right after Niume closed down and like MyLot, it actually really pays. Forum Coin was recommended to me by a friend and they pay too! 100 Springs is paying me to write 4 articles a month. Started participating in the Quora Partner Program and Medium Partner Program. Quora requires too much guesswork to earn income. Just as I had gotten used it, Medium changed their business model so earning income has become kind of challenging. I still maintain my stand-alone blogs because they have Google Ad Sense ads that slowly but surely generate passive income. Of course you have to reach a cashout of $100 before Google will cut you check. There was once a time when there were earnings to be made from those ads. But no more.

This is interesting though I've tried none of those sites. I only use this site and I'm not really bothered about earning - that way there's no pressure.

I've heard of most, but not all of these. Daily two cents sounds vaguely familiar. A few years ago there was this forum set up for talking about debt. It stayed for a few months. I earned about $2.00 per week or month from them, I can't remember which. Mylot has always been the best for me.

Sites come and go, don't they? I have a lot of articles on Infobarrel but haven't visited the site in months.

A good read! I miss Persona Paper, I should really have a look at it again. I had thought that Tumblr has bitten the dust!

I have no idea that Daily Two Cents was shut down. I was writing there before. Hubpages and Mylot are still the best places for me. Thanks for the information you shared.

So you didn't join LiteracyBase, BlogBourne and TinyCent? From your list above I only earn good amount from bitLanders when the site was paying Bitcoin. I hope it would come back paying Bitcoin again.
Dear bitLanders users, bitLanders mission is to provide free education to people about Artificial Intelligence, access free tools like Querlo, to build Conversational Artificial Intelligence solutions and chatbots.bitLanders uses The Buzz Score, its pate

Actually I did join Literacy Base (and wrote a post about it here). It was fun in the beginning but then something weird happened to it. When the owners were switched I tried to contact and ask for my payment (because the other owner didn't pay). Admin never responded. When I can't get a response for the site owner, I leave! I tried BlogBourne but the moderator who reviewed the posts started having personal problems and couldn't maintain the site. I gave up on that. As for TinyCent I visited but didn't really like it so I left.
