You are wrapped around my finger.

Sometimes I get a look from a kid that lets me know that they know that they have me wrapped around their finger. I don't know where that expression comes from, but I know that I saw that look on the face of my 23-month-old girlfriend today. She knows that I'm always there for her, and that if if she puts on a big pout, I'll be there to give her a hug before I send her toddling off to play. I have a picture of another kid that kind of captures that look. She knew she had me "wrapped," but she didn't take advanatage of it too much. Have you had certain people in your life that have you "wrapped"--that you'd do anything for, and they know it?

@TheHorse I know little kids certainly have that ability. We don't get the chance to interact with too many now.

Your story is so cute with cute kiddos kidding you, yet true they feel you wrapped in their fingers for you cannot just leave them you do care them. They feel safe. I also feel that way with the kids at home, my nephews and niece.

Awww, that is so sweet. Each and every one of my children have given me that look. I was just talking to my husband today about how in love I am with all of my kids. You just feel like you'd give them the moon and all the stars in the sky if you could. It's a good feeling.

@vandana7 If a little ones come to my place I would be more than firm, we are both not so much fans of young children, particularly if they are spoiled. I have sent home immediately the young daughter of my neighbor when I noticed she was getting the habit to come here around.
