Teaching children to have compassion for the more vunerable amongst the circle of life-e.g animals- benifits society several ways. Children with developed empathy for animals become compassionate for animals, as well as, towards anyone who is perceived as different. They then grow into adults who are more likely than previous generations, to consider the effects that their actions have on others. Does anyone out there also agree?lmk.

We have a saying here that when a person is kind to animals then he has the compassion for people.

Yes and respect should be an unspoken law. I would not feel comfortable if another, lets say larger animal- lets say a moose, came up to me and disrespected me. Lol. I say that because once in Sanford Maine i was walking off thsome trails and i was approached by 3 moose. It was terrifying but awesome as well.
