What did your parents pass on to you?

I don't mean what they left you in a will I mean what genetic characteristics did they give you? Was it something you are glad to have inherited - perfect teeth or good looks? Or is it something you would rather not have had - a big nose, big ears or big feet perhaps? Where I come from there is one inherited trait which gives rise to a whole range of opinions from admiration to ridicule - red hair. Scotland isn't the only country where you will find red-haired people but it is the country with the largest proportion of redheads. Redheads have a reputation for having a fiery temper when roused. I can't say I've ever been on the receiving end of such but, given their reputation, I don't take any chances and try not to annoy any redheads I know! Speaking personally, my mother was very beautiful and my father was a very intelligent man. Unfortunately, it seems I have inherited my mother's brains and my father's looks!
