Snow!

It rained all day today--not the mellow Seattle-style rain I've grown used to here. It poured. It was also colder than a witch's tit, as my dad used to say. I even blew off my late morning smoke break at work. On my way home, I noticed that the clouds had parted, and that there was snow on Mt. Diablo (our local mountain) as low as perhaps 2800 feet. There had been a rainbow to the Northwest on my way to work, so I guess it was an interesting weather day. How is the weather where you are? Do you get snow where you live? If not, do you have mountains nearby where you can see snow even if it's not at your doorstep?

Can you walk on the beach right now? I enjoyed doing that in Florida and Santa Barbara CA.

The weather where I live is uncertain and today the sun is covered with gray clouds. Very far from the mountain and have never seen snow at all.

@JudyEv It sounds like many of those near the fire zones are being helpful, offering water, a shower, etc. to the victims.

I wish I could see snow atleast on afar away mountain where I live. I am crazy for snow but I hardly see it only when I visit my family which is hours from here

I live in Miami so the weather where I live is quite tropical. We have sun and palm trees, all of it. The weather you describe sounds quite enticing to me. I think I would enjoy it for a change actually. I would love to put on a big coat and go for it.

The mountains nearby are covered with a lot more snow, here we still got no snow this year. Let's hope not to get snow in April.
