Houseworks ! Do you really help your partner? / myLot

Hello everyone i am a turkish man who is married with a japanese woman in japan! We have our house and we are happy ! I really appreciate god and my family! In the first year we had a lot of arguments because of houseworks! But nowadays we are fine! I cook everyday and pick up the clothes , she washes the dishes and clean the house ! So nowadays we have no argument about houseworks! I really wonder you all! How about you? Do you share them? How do you handle it?

Me alone for the housework. My husband works. But there are times he helps me in cleaning or washing dishes

@japanesesamurai I love the house when it is quiet, meaning the kids in school and hubby at work. i can work in peace and do a lot of chores at the same time

@rakski we call it personal time in japan, i mean many people like it here.. i also love it.. i come home earlier than my wife,so i like that peacefull time :) i dont mean my wife is chatterbox..lol

I’m happy you and your wife both do chores. My husband helps me a lot. He cooks a few nights a week, vacuums, washes the floors, and grocery shops with a list I give him. I clean and dust, do the laundry, make the bed, and run errands.

Same for me. As time goes by, I think it really doesn't a big deal to argue for such kind of issues. Besides, perhaps I am more considerate and I don't mind doing more sometimes.

Well seems like an ideal couple to me. Once you start living together things like this are quite normal in the beginning I suppose. But I think you both have well adjusted to each other. It's a nice idea to share chores otherwise one can really feel burdened.

sharing chores is a very important thing for couples! after some time, if one does everything ,finally she/he will explode i think ..

Good point actually!!!! My husband does share work, but at times he is really difficult. Actually, we hardly argue on houseworks.... I manage most of the things on my own
