India strikes back to win 2nd One Day International cricket match played at Rajkot, India. After loosing very badly in first ODI improved allround to win a thriller by 36 runs. Put in to bat by Australia after winning the toss, India amassed 340 runs in alloted 50 overs. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan gave India solid start scoring 81 runs in 13.3 overs when Rohit Sharma was out on 42. Shikhar Dhawan continued with his good form in partnership with captain Kohle who put on 103 runs when Shikhar Dhawan was out on 96 4 short of his century. Shreyas Iyar, next batsman in could not last long. It was then the partnership of Kohli and K.L.Rahul of 80 runs which took India near to mammoth score of 340. Australia in reply were all out for 304 runs in 49.1 overs. giving India win by 36 runs. Steve Smith was main scorer who missed his century by 2 runs. Other significant contributor was Labuschagne who scored 46. 3 match series is now level with both sides winning each. The decider which will be played at Bengaluru on day after tomorrow.
