Stouffer's Potato Bake for Dinner

I was asked by @NJChicaa what is for dinner. Instead of trying to explain to her, I decided to write a short post about it. Didn't want much for dinner. So I have a few of these Stouffer's frozen dishes in my freezer. They are all very good when I need something light and quick. This has cubed potatoes in a cheese sauce with bacon and a crunchy bread crumb topping. Very good. I like any kind of potatoes. Have a good weekend.

Yes it did, always a good dish with his brand. Yes you could taste the bacon.

I am sure these are very good. But I just can't buy this sort of thing. Heck a 10 lb bag of potatoes is still cheaper than one box of this stuff.

@CarolDM How many ounces of potatoes are in that box? I tried to find it in the picture. But it does not show. Let me see if I can tell you what you paid for a pound of potatoes if you can tell me how much you paid for the box and how many ounces was in it. You might be surprised. Give me the info and I will do the math. I am just curious.

@porwest Have no idea, it is a small serving. I threw the box away. What does it matter anyway. This is what I wanted! Plus it has cheese and bacon. Not just potatoes.

Oh, it sounds delicious, but I'm surprised it doesn't have a lot of calories. I can see that there are only 250 calories on the box.
