Strongman Saturday workout tomorrow!

Another Saturday another Strongman session. I need to really start pushing myself to prepare for the Rugged Maniac race this summer. After dealing with a bum shoulder for almost a year I tend to be conservative with the weights that I use. Now I need to ramp it up.
Strongmans are fun. We pick up, carry, pull, push, throw, and flip heavy things. My dad and sister are there as well so my father always calls it "Family Fun Day". Last week I hit a milestone when I picked up the 115 pound Atlas stone. Now I'm going to have to practice that consistently.
We shall see what the workout is tomorrow. I am looking forward to it!

Have you tried using bio freeze for you shoulder ? I rub it on my joints before lifting heavy, and it honestly has helped tremendously. Not only with preventing injury but allowing me to lift without nagging pain from prior injuries.
