Doesn't seem that call centers actually work. How many times have you gotten a call center only to have them tell you, "Let me open a problem ticket on that issue and someone will get back to you." I think most call centers provide below average customer service - but that seems to be the trend nowadays.

No i havent and dont think i will ever i wouldnt like to get abused all day. I know i hang up if someone tries to sell me something

most of the Call centers are located in India and in the Philippines! I'm wearing my headset again right now!! haha got no call..

no i feel working there is of no use
you are not gaining any knowlegde and the exp
from the call center can be of use in another call center only
and know one thing
its booming only because of cheap labour.
after few years china will come on top.
now they lack because they dnt know english

Yeah i work in a call Center now for cingular wireless where i take inbound calls for sales. and i love it. it beats doing any hard labor

no i've never worked in a call center . i don have any experience . but i'm plannin gout to work in a call center in the near future .planning for taking up vocabulary courses to get my language and communication skills set .

I used to work for one that did outsource work for several companies. It was a lousy job but gave me good experience.

I have worked in a call center from my home. There are a ton of companies that hire people to work from their homes in a "virtual" call center. www.myathomelife.com lists the companies for free.
