Always Thinking up Something

Since it’s a cool day here with nothing to do, I called my sister-in-law and brother with a pretty good idea. They agreed.
We will pick them up in front of their condo later this afternoon and take a drive along the ocean to Palm Beach. It’s such a beautiful drive. We all enjoy seeing the mansions and beautifully landscaped gardens and entryways. We just glance at Mar-a-Lago.
We will shop and browse the stores. I do need to go to my favorite department store to pick up a few things, but plan on surprising my sister-in-law with a gift. She recently recovered from breast cancer, thank goodness.
We were able to snag early reservations at Taboo, a favorite place of everyone it seems. After that, we will go to the bar at Bice’s, another great place, for an early nightcap.
I love days like this, especially when it’s sunny.

Shopping is always an option! If I didn't need meds and to pick up Jax though I would stay in today..it is not pleasant out.

Oh, and speaking of cold, how many iguanas did you find laying on the ground this morning? At about 40 degrees, they become comatose and fall out of the trees!

@DianneN They love burrowing into sea walls and building their nests there, so I'm surprised you don't have any scattered around your immediate neighborhood.

@moffittjc We only saw one a few years ago, because some workers left a gate opened.
I do see them hanging around the pond at the golf club. They even swim in it.

I hope you had a wonderful day out with your sister-in-law and she loved the gift you got her.
The drive sounds lovely. I'm sure those mansions are beautiful and make the drive even better.

The guys came, too, and we all had a fabulous time with so many laughs.
I wanted to try a new room deodorizer, since the one I love wasn’t in stock. I sprayed about 6 different scents in the air and we all wound up smelling like French .....houses. The store watched our purchases while we went elsewhere, and they knew when we returned by our smell.

@just4him I didn’t like any after all that.
I have enough of my favorite left, so when they restock, I’ll pick it up. It’s called Moroccan Amber. I bought a candle in that scent, too. It will give me a chance to return. I love that store!
