Good Tuesday Afternoon & Daily Health Report - January 20

How you all doing? I've had a busy day up to this moment when I could finally sit down and be with you.
My day started at 2 AM. My phone woke me. Not happy about that. I wanted at least a half-hour more. It is what it is. The weather showed cold and windy so I dressed warm when I left for the pool. Of course, that didn't happen until I scraped the windows. It was a hard frost last night and took 20 minutes to get the windows cleared so I could leave. By then the inside was toasty warm. This morning, I did not get to the Y before the doors opened, but right after. I was in the pool shortly after 5.
With the amount I ate yesterday, I wanted a weight check. No gain. So that was good.
After the pool, it was the fitness center and twenty minutes on the elliptical.
Now, my rule is no laundry on the same day I go to the Y. No Y on the same day I do laundry. My knees don't appreciate that kind of abuse. However, laundry needed to be done and I needed to get back in the pool. My knees are very happy to be sitting here right now. I did two loads of laundry and spent the morning in the loft with my son, so that meant lots of stair climbing. I folded the first load there and the second load here. I also just finished lunch. It was a simple lunch today, unlike yesterday.
So, now about yesterday and the food and exercise Totals.

It was freezing so I didn't go out. Food was pretty good. I stayed within my points.

That's good you stayed in your points. Cold here too, but that's expected this time of year.

Too many steps. No pool today. My right knee is in max pain. I can feel it in my hips too. I need to work up to 7000 steps. Not put so many in when I'm not used to it. I'm good at 5000 steps and even 6000 is okay.
I went to bed super early last night because I was so tired.

My steps were better yesterday than today, but my food was probably better today.
Glad you didn't gain and you got both the pool and laundry done.

Thank you. I'm not going to the pool today. I really can't do both laundry and pool on the same day. My right knee is in bad shape. I'm going to Walgreens today to see if I can find a heating pad.
I'm glad your steps were good and food better.

@Courtlynn I was in my suit, ready to get everything ready when the weather showed snow and icy roads. I changed and I'm getting the notifications finished.
I like the fact it's snowing, but snow and ice at 4:30 in the morning, not good.

Sounds like a very busy day with the pool and laundry! Sounds like good food yesterday, even though the calories were higher, that is great that you didn't see a gain!

@just4him A few tenths gain is not too bad, better than a pound or two! Although a loss is always better.
