Happy weekend everyone! Saturday has just arrived a few minutes ago in my neck of the woods. It is midnight here and I am still awake. Well, I go to bed in half an hour.
This Friday afternoon I was busy and I went with my hubby to Aldi earlier that evening. Our weekly food shopping. As we didn't have time to cook and already tired for cooking, we only bought ready made Italian bread rolls and antipasti. I had to bake the bread rolls for 6 minutes in the oven though but it was fine. Warm garlic bread rolls were yummy. My better half didn't eat the antipasti as it was with Chili so I have enjoyed them all.
Do you make your own antipasti or buy it in the supermarket? I don't do them as I am only the one who like eating them. Btw, antipasti is the plural of antipasto, the entry in a complete Italian menu.
I am so full for this evening and don't need peanuts for a snack. I am feeling tired too. No wonder, it is midnight.
Okay. Ciao for now. Goodnight and see you later in your discussions.

What is antipasti? I seem not to have encountered that yet on the dining table.

@thelme55 thanks for the added knowledge. I had an inkling that it is an Italian word but I had no idea. So that is antipasti in the photo.

Antipasti is an Italian word of the entry or the first course of a meal @Alexandoy. It is the Appetizer of the menu. An antipasti consists of peppers filled with cheese, olives, cherry tomatoes and more.

I don´t really feel bad when my hubby don´t like some of the food that I like. I don´t like all the food that he likes, either. Like the German stinky cheese, I don´t like it but he loves it. I still buy it for him though. Happy Chinese new year to you. I don´t celebrate chinese new year.

I tend to make my own, the ready made stuff is quite expensive.

Yes, it is indeed expensive @snowy22315. I think homemade is the best.

If antipasti has hot flavored things I would not be able to eat. Don't like a burning mouth nor my stomach to hurt It does look good.

I rarely eat antipasto but when I do it's store-bought.

Such delicious memories of antipasto which I have not made in years. I always made my own and included stuffed olives and other things like marinated peppers. I hope you have a good night and a sunny morning.
