Yes, I am sure of that.
How are you today? Any special thing you have done this Sunday?
I just came home from bonding with my Filipino friends here in Germany. Though some of our friends were not able to come, we (just 5 of us) were very happy. It was a fun relaxing day full of laughter and joy. We had plenty of Filipino food to eat. We had rice, Longganisa, chopsuey, chicken adobo, pinakbet, laing, fried eggplants, dried fried fish and of course the cupcakes that I have baked last night.
Time really was fast when we were enjoying. We spent 6 hours together. Now my jaw is aching from a lot of laughing and I am tired, too. It is still too early to sleep and so I do my notifications and interact here on Mylot while I can.
I hope your Sunday was a fun day, too. Thank you and have a wonderful new week ahead.

i'm amazed you could cook laing (taro leaves in coconut milk). how are they sold there? they're probably expensive. and the tuyo, gosh, wouldn't the smell stick to the curtains and sofa? hahaha!

My friend cooked the Laing. Her mother always brings dried taro leaves every time she goes back to Germany. Laing is really delicious. I have no idea @hereandthere because it is my friend who cooked it in her home. Thank you.

Where in Germany are you? There are plenty of Filipinos here in Germany. Filipino communities are everywhere. You can pm me. I might be able to find Filipino in your area as I have plenty of Filipino contacts online. I am also writing in a Filipino German magazine. Thank you for dropping by @m_audrey6788

Oh how nice! I love that Filipinos have such wonderful gatherings . . . many of our Filipino friends out here do it often and always with lots of food - LOTS. One family we know - the grandma (in which she tells us to call her Nanay) always makes pancit for us as she knows we like it. Glad you had a great time with your friends!!

@thelme55 We just happen to know quite a few Filipino families out here. I will have to try to make pancit at home some time. Nanay will cook all the Filipino foods (the families say there is no Filipino restaurant out here that is as great as homemade food) but the rest of the food and desserts they will get from restaurants .

We were all very happy bonding together @freelancermariagrace. From time to time, we need this kind of bonding without husbands and children. Thank you.

I am sure you will do that @porwest. When you are in a foreign land for a few months or even years, it is nice to talk to a fellow countrymen. You will exchange your experiences with each other and you will also know where you can find American food and drinks.

I am glad you enjoyed your Sunday, it sounds very nice. My husband and I spent the day at home. My husband had to study most of the day and I read and spent time online.

I can relate to that. Good thing I have brought some leftover home. BH is a tradition for us Filipinos. Thanks, @Letranknight2015
