Yes, very bumpy and shiny too. I’ve been dealing with this for almost two weeks now and up until now it’s not even trying to heal. And I’m just dealing with pain killer every day. That is why I wanted to stay in the center and get admitted. But then again they won’t let me. This is very serious for me for I know I’m the one dealing with pain. But the boyfriend always rule. Do you know of other remedy? Photo is my swollen left leg and foot.

OMG! That is looking bad. You have to have a treatment to reduce the swelling. When my father had swollen feet and was not yet gone to the doctor, he put wilted herbal leaves on her feet. I have no idea what's the name of the leaves my sister gave him but it was healing.

Oh my - why can't they at least do something for your leg - it is definitely swollen plus that it is painful for you. I'd say they need to find the root cause of this so they could remedy this properly - I can't understand why they won't admit you!

Self-diagnosing might worsen your condition Bhem. You need to know what's causing it first before treatment by seeing a doctor.

I hope you had it scheduled already. When I was in constant pain, I always let my doctors know how I feel.

I’ve gone to the Doctor and they advised me to have an X-ray first and they go from there if what’s the cause.

is that edema? or something else? if it is a fracture, there should be hematoma (pasa). did you try elevating it to drain the liquid. It should be higher than your heart when you elevate it.

Oh no, that looks very bad. From what I know, that swelling is called edema that is due to the weak kidneys. Since you are under treatment, I wonder why there is edema in your feet.

It’s because of the accident. The boyfriend did not send me back to the hospital after the incident.

@JustBhem aw, that swelling is not edema, do you mean it was from the impact of the accident? There might be a fracture. It should be checked.

Wow, I hope it's nothing serious. Have you found a remedy yet? Over Christmas, my left foot swelled up, but nowhere near yours. But it was tender and a bit sore around the ankle. I went on a health trip, cutting back on food intake, drinking more water and started working out. Now it's all gone. Whether it's a coincidence or not, I guess I'll never know for sure. The other thing is, it could be water retention. Feel better.

@JustBhem Possibly. But what I had had nothing whatsoever to do with arthritis, thank heavens! Although having said that, I think if I gained a lot of weight, I'd end up having arthritis. It IS, after all, a lifestyle condition.

What does the doctor say about that and how are they treating you. Are you having fever on that? I think if you are not then that may be the reason why they do not feel like you need to be admitted? I really do not know how they treat this one. I think this is because that your kidney is not functioning well that is why it bloated like that.
