Do you shop in a thrift store?

I am convinced that this saying "Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are" is true. Well,I don't hang out with friends very often as my husband and I and my mother-in-law usually hang out more often in a certain place. My mother-in-law is a notorious frugal woman even if she has money. Last week, she invited me to a thrift store and she shopped there. Since my husband and I were her companions, my husband and I also checked on the items. Well, we liked some and we did buy them..We never shopped in a thrift store but my MIL was a great influence on us. We will surely come back there.

I am an avid thrift shop shopper! I go on the days when there are extra bargains too. Sounds like you have a great relationship with your mother in law.

yes. we are very closed to each other. I try to have a good relationship with my immediate family members and this is the reason why i seldom hang out with friends.

I visited a couple of thrift stores before and the prices were quite expensive for use items. I never been back. I have seen many people successful shopping at thrift stores just not in my area. Glad you stumbled upon great finds and will return.

I have shopped in thrift stores and also get good deals in the clearance sections of each store after each holiday.

I haven't been to one in a bit, the one we have here is messy and the parking lot is awful. I do like looking if i get the chance.

I used to love to shop in thrift stores it was a great way to afford more clothes and stuff than I could in a regular store. When I lived in Latvia there were thrift stores that sold clothes by the pound for a great deal. You should have seen the amazing coats and winter jackets my late husband and I got. It looked like we had spent a fortune.

yes. I.remember a painting or jewelry that cost millions in an auction which they only bought for a few dollars in a thrift store.

I like those stores, since you never know what you are going to find from there. Lots of times we left empty handed (after window shopping there) but then lots of times, we brought home all sort of interesting old things like books, odd stuff for handicraft, decorations etc.
