What does the month of January teach us?

As I reflect before this month ends, I believe there are so many things that had happened just at the start of the year. This includes natural calamities, health risks, and very most recently, the death of a sports legend. The happenings are quite shocking and overwhelming. What are your thoughts about this?

This just goes to show that the world isn't safe, but as life revolves... We must need to live life fully yielded with our faith as well as making the most out of it. We only live once and with all of these situations coming in the first month of the year, not gonna lie it is quite scary and alarming but what can we do? Well, we must listen to what nature tells us and try to live efficiently and humanely with that being said, Respecting nature because we never know how she responds to human activities. Thank you!

@audreyguapa Thank you! and thanks for posting this discussion. We tend to forget that we don't own the world and sometimes it pays a toll to every living being. We need to respect nature. Have a great day!

Welcome to mylot! I hope you enjoy your time here. The happenings don't scare me but they do make me grateful that I'm a child of God.

Welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site!
The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Although it is not obligatory, you can write a post introducing yourself so that we can get to know you.
Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction.
Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky.

It teaches us that time keeps marching on and we are truly insignificant specks in the grand scheme of things. Like every month.
January is my birthday month as well and it's another month that brings me closer to dying or someone close to me dying or an earthquake, or another disease outbreak. These things happen.

all of these events are shocking because it is the first month of the year, so it comes to mind: "what else can happen?". I'm really scared, but if we think positive and have faith in a better world and take care of it too, better days will come :)
