Now We Are Close Friends

Four days back I received an invitation card.A friend had invited me to attend the marriage ceremony of his younger brother.
Three years ago we were strangers to each other.I first saw him sitting by my side when I was on my way to the capital city of my state.
I still remember it was a bright,sunny day.The month was May.We began talking about weather and then strayed into politics.
After six hours the train reached the capital city.We both alighted from the train.Within those six hours we had got close to each other.He offered me a cup of tea and we both had tea at a restaurant.
After four days I came back home.Everyday either he would come to me or I would go to his hotel to see him.Before I left for home,we had become close friends.
Next year I invited him to attend my birthday party and he came.This year he has invited me and now it is my turn.

@sprite1950 Strangers rarely become friends.What happened with me is a miracle.I meet many strangers.None of them became my friend.

@kanuck1 It was unexpected and surprising,but the truth is that now we are close friends. I come across many strangers everyday,but they don't become my friends.
